The 3D scanner, with the precision of one millimeter, allows you to acquire with a single examination the 2D and 3D image of the foot in the unloaded, semi-loaded and under load position. Podoscan 3D also detects the imprint left in the phenolic foam. The instrument is mainly aimed at the production of plantar orthoses, which combined with the calculation of the foot pressures detected by means of a baropodometric platform, allows to obtain the design of a customized orthosis that really corresponds to the postural needs of the customer.
The image is acquired via the freeStep software and can be immediately exported to the easyCad Insole insole design software. Furthermore, the measurements can be used at any time for the realization of a faithful cast of the foot.
